Date of Loss: March 16, 2010

Brief Facts: While on the ground, the aircraft was connected to a GPU for power. With no engines running, the pull/stop/feather lever was cycled, at which time the gear motor activated and the main landing gear (MLG) collapsed. The nose gear stayed up. The aft fuselage and tail struck an asphalt curb.

General Description of Damage (May not be limited to): Left prop (one blade is bent). L&R wings and engine nacelles (jack screws pushed through). L&R Inboard Flaps. L&R MLG doors. Fuselage: belly damage and holes penetrated the pressure vessel. Top of fuselage is wrinkled above the cabin door. Door frame is bent. Tail is wrinkled under the horizontal stabilizer. Interior cabinetry is broken near the aft baggage area. Please see pictures.
